i found a Apple IPhone but it doesnt work with my Sim Card Why?

Its the same company and everything...i just dont know what to do is there anyway to bypass it? or is it now just an ipod? Thanks for the help and i guess me finding makes me a bad guy....Sure ppl cant find it just lying in the floor ....tsk tsk that sad that ppl don't believe in good anymore...Well i found it and i would return it if it had a name or number but it looks like someone else was trying to make it work so yeah blame me..w/o knowing the story...and now im bored.....

The phone works fine. I dont think you "found" it, I am sure you stole it. But, the phone needs to be activiated through Itunes. That is the only way the phone can be used on the At&t network. Unless you unlock it, which is a complicated process and if you can't figure out how to activate the iphone, you won't be able to unlock it. Hook the phone up though itunes using the data cable and you will be able to use it.

iPhones do not use SIM cards You have to activate it through iTunes by installing the latest version and plugging its usb cord onto the computer and iTunes will automatically recognize it and help you with the rest.
