iphone repair?

I dropped my iphone a few times and now I have several cosmetic damages on the corners (nothing on the screen though) and am wondering if I can only bring it in to get it fixed or I can also send it to Apple for a repair and if so, is it covered under the 1 yr warranty?

You can bring it in or send to Apple and they will give you another (for a large price) but the only things covered under the warranty are hardware or software failure, not damage from user neglect. So if you get another iphone I would recommend getting a protective cover for it, as a $40 cover is much cheaper than a new phone.
