Problem with jailbreaking my iPhone?

I've had my iPhone for about a month now, and I decided I wanted to get some more cool apps on it, and of course, I'd have to jailbreak it first. I've never done this before, so I really didn't know what to expect. BUT, I know something has to be wrong. I opened Safari and went to www.jailbreakme.com, and scrolled down to the bottom and clicked 'Install AppSnapp'. All the instructions I've found had said that Safari will close, and start installing. However, the link takes me to this page, where when its done fully loading, is completely blank! The page is http://jailbreakme.com/files/y.tiff. The only thing on the page is a small blue block you can barely see in the upper left corner, and Safari just stays there. I've tried hooking it up to the computer with the USB cord and doing it again, but still. Nothing's happening. Help?
